An Idea of blessings and equality
I was sitting in p.e. class watching two special ed kids playing around and it came to me they do not have to worry about 2 things(perhaps more). The first of which is a prideful heart. I noticed that they did anything they pleased, without worry...no without knowledge of what lowliness was. The second, lust of money. Money? what is it to them? Nothing, I doubt the idea of money enters their mind, it does not even appear as a need to them. This oddly enough led me to think of a G.K. Chesterton quote (possibly C.S. Lewis) "Equality is only found in the love of God." Or very near to this, the idea I know, is the same at the very least. The grace of God is the proof of his love, and the death of The Son is the proof of his grace. Now as evidence of His grace, is the blessed position of the mentally handicapped.
